‹ The guideCHEWZI comes from a family that has spent four generations in hospitality.
It began with Tom, a longtime upscale hotel General Manager who went on to become an executive with Holiday Inn. His son spent the first thirty-five years of his career in hotel operations and Food & Beverage, including corporate F&B with Sheraton Hotels. The next generation brought the kitchen — fifteen years as an executive chef. The fourth brought the technology.
That is where CHEWZI came from.
There are plenty of ways to find a restaurant. Finding what you actually want to eat is harder than it should be. You end up with a name, an address and a star rating, and still no idea what is on the plate.
CHEWZI puts the restaurants, the menus and the individual dishes in one place. Whether you know exactly what you are looking for, or you only know you are hungry.
We repeat what a restaurant publishes. We do not invent an hour, a price, a dietary marking or a special. Where a restaurant publishes nothing, we say so instead of guessing. Menus are read again twice a year at the seasonal change.
